Chickster
Built a fusion-driven packaging system that travelled with The Chickster from local outlets in Pune to its Dubai launch.
Sector: F&B Packaging
Services: Packaging Design, Indoor Brand Experience
Year: 2025
Challenge
For the Chickster, The earlier packaging system was generic and lacked storytelling, which made it hard to communicate the brand’s fusion identity and differentiate it from competitors in the fast food space.
The system needed to work seamlessly across multiple formats, from dine-in to takeaway, while maintaining consistency, clarity, and strong visual recall in a fast-moving QSR setting. This had to be done in such a way that the brand could scale to 2 Locations in Pune and 1 new opening in Dubai.
Solution
The new packaging and brand voice helped The Chickster scale successfully to two locations in Pune and expand internationally to Dubai, establishing a strong and consistent identity across geographies.
Issues with the old Packaging Design System
The earlier packaging lacked clarity and narrative, making the fusion concept feel generic and overly American.
Customers struggled to understand the offering, leading to weak differentiation and slower first-time acquisition in an already saturated fast food category.
Crafting Central Communication
We reframed the brand from “Fried & Always Fiery,” to “Fusion-Inspired Fried Chicken” introducing strong desi flavour cues layered onto an American format.
This created a clearer, more ownable narrative rooted in boldness, spice, and cultural familiarity. The brand was already popular and had been awarded as the City’s best Fried Chicken Restaurant. We took that leverage to communicate in an efficient way.
Merchandise
We extended the brand into merchandise including t-shirts and caps, ensuring consistency with the core visual language. These assets reinforced recall, strengthened brand culture, and helped translate The Chickster’s bold personality beyond just food and packaging.
Full Packaging Experience
A cohesive system was built across all touchpoints including buckets, fries boxes, condiment packs, stickers, and carry bags.
Each element followed a unified visual and communication hierarchy, ensuring consistency across dine-in, delivery, and takeaway experiences.
Scaling from 1 brand to a multi outlet chain
We developed scalable brand assets for interiors and physical spaces, ensuring colour consistency and communication clarity across locations.
With AI-led visualisations and defined systems, the brand experience remained consistent as The Chickster expanded across multiple outlets and geographies.
